§ 30-4-904. Concealment or removal from jurisdiction of certain persons.

  • Any individual who maliciously, forcibly or fraudulently takes or entices away any incapacitated or partially incapacitated person, or any other person over the age of sixteen (16) for whom a guardian has been appointed, with intent to detain and conceal such person from his or her guardian or who transports such person from the jurisdiction of this state or the United States without consent of the guardian or the court shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment not to exceed ten (10) years.
