§ 74-840-4.7. Adoption of pay grades and pay grade adjustments - Reports - Exemption from Administrative Procedures Act.

A.  Proposed initial assignment of pay bands and pay band adjustments may be adopted by the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services after a public hearing.  Such action shall become effective the following July 1 unless the Director finds it essential for the provision or continuation of government services to adopt an earlier effective date.  All such actions shall be reported to the Governor, President Pro Tempore of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives.  The report shall include the justification and financial impact of the action.

B.  The provisions of this section shall not be subject to the provisions of Article I of the Administrative Procedures Act.
